 Mapping of Psychological Therapies

At the request of the Department of Health, Social Services & Public Safety (DHSSPS) the Centre has recently carried out five mapping exercises of psychological therapes, including counselling services in Northern Ireland in 2007.The reports are entitled;

No 1  Mapping of Psychological Therapies - Health & Social Care Trusts

No 2  Mapping of Psychological Therapies - Overview of cours available in Northern Ireland and the border region of the Republic

 No 3  Mapping of Psychological Therapies - The Voluntary and Community Sector

 No 4  Mapping of Psychological Therapies - The Private and Lone Practioner Sector

No 5  Mapping of Psychological Therapies - The Primary Care Sector

The purpose of the mapping was to find out and report upon the range of scale of provision of psychological therapies available to the public in Northern Ireland.  This work will provide a basis for planning and service development.
